Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth, 49, says she SEWED her daughter Lola Ray Facinelli’s prom strapless dress: ‘Somehow I pulled it off!’
Jennie Garth proved herself to be quite the seamstress.
The 49-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 star revealed in a cute Instagram post on Wednesday that she had made her 18-year-old daughter Lola Ray Facinelli’s dress for prom.
‘✨Prom fun ✨ Ok, so tbh when my daughter said “I wanna make my prom dress” she really meant “Mom I want you to make my prom dress,”‘ she wrote in the caption.

‘Guys, sewing isn’t my thing!! But somehow I pulled it off! The thing is, she could have asked me to buy her some fancy dress but she wanted it to be homemade,’ Jennie continued, adding a facepalm emoji.
Garth went on to say, ‘She wanted that. I dunno, it just makes me proud. And it made her so proud to be able to say “my Mom made my dress”.

Lola’s sleek strapless satin gown had a high slit on one side. The teenager paired it with a gold necklace that had several pendants and strappy black shoes.
In the first photo that Jennie shared, Lola posed with her date Gabe Bregman as the couple smiled happily. The teen was wearing a white rose corsage and her date sported a matching boutonnière.
Jennie and her husband David Abrams hosted an elegant backyard dinner for the prom party. In the second snap posted by Jennie, the prom party could be seen seated at a long table with a white linen tablecloth.

The table was decorated with crystal and black candleholders as well as white roses and flowers. All of the girls were clad in black dresses.
Lola grinned and flashed a peace sign and the group smiled for the camera. Jennie shares Lola as well as daughters Luca Bella, 23, and Fiona Eve, 14 with her ex-husband and actor Peter Facinelli, 47.
The What I Like About You actress and the Twilight star wed in January 2001 but Facinelli filed for divorce in March 2012. Their divorce was finalized in June 2013.
