Jennifer Aniston says ‘something is in the works’ with Friends co-stars… but confirms it WON’T be a reboot
It’s the big question Friends fanatics have been wondering for years.
And Jennifer Aniston has confirmed that while there will be no reboot, ‘something is in the works.’
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk-show, she said that they’d love there to be ‘something’ but the cast aren’t yet sure what that ‘something’ is.

‘Like a reboot of the show? No,’ she bluntly shut down.
‘Listen, we would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is, so we’re just trying, we’re working on something.’
But that answer wasn’t enough for Ellen who kept pressing the Morning Show star for more answers.

‘We can safely say it’s probably not a reboot, a movie though.’
Jennifer played along and replied: ‘Huge, huge, huge movie. We don’t know.’
‘A possibility that it’s a movie,’ Ellen continued.
‘I don’t know yet!’ the actress responded, adding: ‘I don’t want to lead people on.’
The talk-show host went on to question why it was then that the cast were all hanging out together recently, marking Jennifer’s first Instagram post.
‘We did that because we miss each other and we all happened to be in the same part of the world.

But Charlie and Ellen weren’t entirely convinced by her answer.
‘Sounds like to me there’s something in the works,’ Charlie said.
Ellen asked when was the last time the cast all get together like they did in the photo.
‘A couple of minutes ago. A year ago. Eight months ago,’ she stammered.
‘I don’t know! I’m just throwing stuff out there!’ Jennifer continued.
Friends recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, debuting back in 1994.
The cast have not been pictured altogether since the show’s ending in 2004 – until Jennifer shared the selfie on Instagram.
