Jennifer Aniston took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to celebrate National Puppy Day.
The Friends veteran was generous with her photos as she gave followers a look at her dog Lord Chesterfield as a fluffy white puppy, and more recently, as a full grown dog. The canine is now about two-years-old.
National Puppy Day was established in 2006 by Colleen Paige who hoped to shed a light on canines that need to be rescued. It is not to be confused with National Dog Day which falls on August 26.

Jennifer shared an image when Chesterfield was a puppy and also when he was older, adding over the photo, ‘From this to this.’
And the Morning Show star also said, ‘I don’t know if National Puppy Day is a real holiday… but I’ll take any excuse to post Chesterfield throwbacks.’
The siren added a kissy heart emoji face.

Aniston adopted Chesterfield in 2020 and made the announcement online.
‘Hi! I’d like to introduce to you the newest member of our family….this is (a very tired) Lord Chesterfield ❤️,’ the LA native said.
‘He stole my heart immediately.
‘A HUGE thank you to @wagmorpets for the incredible work you do. Grateful you take such great care of these rescues and find them their forever homes.’

The Cake actress also has a dog named Clyde, a terrier and Schnauzer mix. And the looker has another pooch named Sophie, her white and black pitbull.
There were also images of Dolly, a white shepherd, shared to Insta Stories on Wednesday.
In one photo Jen is seen with her hand on Dolly;s back as she wrote, ‘Hi! I’m Jen and your name…? Dolly, Okay. Copy that.’

The image must have been taken about 20 years ago. Dolly died in 2019 after suffering an illness.
Jennifer has been married twice: to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and to Justin Theroux from 2015 until 2017.
The versatile actress has also romanced Vince Vaughn and John Mayer, among others.
The Emmy winning star seems to be single these days and living a happily divorced lifestyle as she stars in project after project.

Jennifer has been in Hawaii and France this year shooting the Netflix movie Murder Mystery 2 with friend Adam Sandler.
And earlier this year she was seen on season two of The Morning Show with Reese Witherspoon.
A year ago the daughter of soap opera actor John Aniston shared a look at all three of her four-legged friends while in the backyard of her stunning $21million Bel Air, California mansion which includes a lush green lawn and a large pool house.

‘Dog day afternoon,’ wrote the Vogue cover girl. Dog Day Afternoon is also the title of the 1975 Al Pacino movie.
She added a red heart emoji and dog paw prints on the photos as well.
In another image the Along Came Polly star said it was ‘Sunday Funday’ at her sprawling estate.
The siren has been a proud dog owner for decades.
One of her most memorable dogs was her Welsh corgi-terrier Norman who died in 2011 at age 15.
The heartbreak was so intense, Jennifer got his name tattooed on her foot so she could always be reminded of the pooch.
