Jennifer Garner was seen accompanying her youngest child, Samuel, to swim practice in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The 49-year-old performer appeared to be enjoying her time in the shining California sun while she held her son’s hand, and she was later seen taking a solo stroll after dropping off her kid.
The actress shares Samuel, as well as her daughters Seraphina and Violet, with her former husband, Ben Affleck, whom she divorced in 2018.

Garner cut a very casual figure during the outing, as she wore a lovely blue cardigan sweater on top of a white t-shirt.
The performer also wore a pair of black joggers that conformed tightly to her sculpted legs and thighs while accompanying her son to swim practice.
The Elektra star sported a set of dual-tone athletic shoes during her time with her youngest child.
Her typically flowing brunette hair was tied back in a messy bun, and a notable amount of strands made their way onto her face.

Garner and Affleck, 49, initially met while working on features such as Pearl Harbor and Daredevil, and developed a close friendship on the sets of both movies.
Before she began dating her former costar, the actress was married to Scott Foley, whom she met on the set of the college drama series Felicity.
The couple tied the knot in 2000, although they went on to separate in 2003, and their divorce was finalized the following year.
She later entered into a relationship with Affleck in 2004, and they solidified their union during a very small wedding ceremony in 2005.

The former pair started a family very quickly, as Garner gave birth to Violet Anne that same year.
The two waited for four years before they added their second daughter, Seraphina Rose, to their lives in 2009.
Affleck and the performer eventually welcomed Samuel into their family in 2012, and the happy family was often seen spending time with each other during various public outings.
However, the entertainment industry figures announced that they had separated in 2015, and they later dissolved their marriage in 2018.

The former couple remains on good terms, and the Argo director later rekindled his previous romance with Jennifer Lopez, whom he is currently dating.
Earlier this year, Garner spoke to People and expressed that she often takes parenting tips from her pals who also have children.
‘If a mom friend says she’s tried something and it worked, I try it…That’s what a mom network does for each other, right? We really do raise kids in community, not in a vacuum,’ she noted.
The performer also discussed the difficulties of raising children during the global pandemic and confessed that she occasionally felt bogged down by the pressures of being a parent.

Garner briefly spoke about her love life and pointed out that, although she saw a future with somebody else for herself, she was focused on being a parent for the time being.
‘I definitely don’t think that I’ll be single forever. But this is not the time. I don’t need to complicate it; I’m good,’ she stated.
