The book spent 44 weeks on The New York Times Best Seller list and was chosen as Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club Book of the Month when it was released.
Prior to its release, Witherspoon had already optioned the book from Dave, who is co-creating the series with Josh Singer.
The series will be executive produced by Witherspoon, Hello Sunshine’s Lauren Neustadter, Garner, Dave and Singer.
