Jennifer Garner was in great spirits while stepping out in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning.
The 51-year-old actress, who was recently spotted in the company of her ex-husband, showed off a wide smile while joined by a pal on an outing and spent time in the company of her acquaintance.
The star looked every bit the doting mother as she was later seen giving a hug to daughter Seraphina, 14, before her child stepped into a car.
Garner cut a casual figure while wearing a white button-up shirt underneath a navy blue crewneck sweater.
The Primetime Emmy-nominated actress also donned a pair of blue jeans and completed her look with leather shoes.

Garner shares Seraphina with her former husband, Ben Affleck, whom she married in 2005.
The actress and the 51-year-old actor welcomed their eldest daughter Violet, 17, that same year, and they brought Seraphina into their family in 2009.
The performers, who costarred in features such as Elektra and Pearl Harbor, also welcomed a son named Samuel, 11, in 2012.
However, Garner and Affleck shocked many when they announced that they had separated in 2015, and their divorce was finalized three years later.
The actor moved on with Jennifer Lopez, with whom he was in a high-profile relationship in the early 2000s, and the two tied the knot in Las Vegas last July.
The Argo director also serves as a stepfather to his wife’s children Emme and Maximilan, 15, whom she shares with her former husband, Marc Anthony.
Garner spoke about parenthood during an interview with People, where she stated that she had ‘a huge heart for teenagers.’

The performer stated: ‘I love them. I love what they’re going through. I see how hard it is to be a teen right now.’
The actress went on to state that she was happy to be able to maintain a close relationship with her children.
Garner remarked: ‘I’m learning as much from them, or more from them, than they’ll ever learn from me.’
‘My kids aren’t mean – they’re teenagers, but they’re not mean. Not to me,’ she added.
