Jennifer Garner has her kids to thank for why her already full house keeps getting busier.
The 48-year-old actress explained that her three children are the reason she continues to add more pets to family.
‘I love my chickens, I love the fish, but what has happened is my kids have discovered that if they want to have pets, instead of me saying no, they give me [them] for my birthday or for Mother’s Day,’ she said while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday.

Jennifer said one of her favorite activities with daughters Violet, 15, and Seraphina, 12, and son Samuel, 9, is watching ‘fish tv.’
‘We’ll just put little chairs in front of them and watch and see. They really do have personalities and they’re just fish,’ she said of her finned pets who she named Nemo and Dory.

Chicken mom: The loving mom said her chickens are ‘great,’ but doing so well that she can’t add any new checks into the coop she has in the family’s backyard.

‘I am still waiting for my chick Ellen DeHeneres. I’m also waiting for my Oprah Henfrey, Kelly Cluckson, Jimmy Fowlon. My chickens are so darn healthy that they are living way past their life expectancy,’ she said.
She said the one good thing is that she can’t get them to stop laying eggs: ‘The chickens are just laying away. They’re like five or six now… They weren’t off very long this year. They wanted to get back to it.
‘They really like my eldest daughter, but they will come for me if I have a box of worms in my hand. Who doesn’t,’ she added.

Garner also has a rescued golden retriever named Birdie, who she regularly shares snaps of on her Instagram.
She is often seen dressing up the loving dog on social media or reading it stories.
The family has a pet cat at home that they love taking on walks with the pet sitting in a stroller.

Jennifer explained the unusual pandemic activity on Ellen’s show back in July: ‘One of my kids was not into going for walks and we just had to get out of the house. And I said, “What can we do? We have to just commit to going for walks.”‘
