Jennifer Garner shares some laughs with 11-year-old son Samuel as they stroll hand-in-hand in Los Angeles

Jennifer Garner got her week off to a great start by taking a walk with her 11-year-old son Samuel on Monday.

The 51-year-old actress – who was spotted having some laughs with ex Ben Affleck on Sunday  – was spotted on a sunny Monday afternoon with Samuel.

She was seen holding hands wih her only son as he pulled his roller backpack behind him.

Garner stepped out with a black t-shirt under a long-sleeved light blue denim shirt for the outing.

She had her long auburn hair tied back in a bun and donned some black sunglasses with her phone resting in her shirt pocket.

The Alias star completed her look with navy blue stretch pants and black and purple running shoes.

Her son Samuel opted for a forest green polo shir under a black hoodie with tan khakis and grey sneakers.

The outing comes nearly two weeks since the first trailer for Garner’s new family comedy debuted, Netflix’s Family Switch.

Garner and Ed Helms star as Jess and Bill Walker, the heads of a family that also include CC (Emma Myers) and Wyatt (Brady Noon).

The comedy follows this family who has a chance encounter with a fortune teller, and the next morning the mother and daughter have switched bodies, along with the father and son.

They must each try to achieve each others’ goals in their new bodies as they must work as a family.

The Netflix comedy hails from director McG, which screenwriters Victoria Strouse and Adam Sztykiel adapted from the 2010 book Bedtime for Mommy by Amy Krouse Rosenthal.

The film also stars Cyrus Arnold, Vanessa Carrasco and Matthias Schweighofer and will be released on November 30.

Garner also made headlines by kindly helping a homeless man, even offering to give him her own shoes.

She would go on to give him food and cash, while asking a photographer if he would help the wheelchair-bound homeless man, which he did, giving him his shoes and a blanket. 

Garner most recently starred in the Apple TV Plus series The Last Thing He Told Me and the revival of the beloved Starz series Party Down.

The actress will also reprise her role as Elektra Nachios from 2003’s Daredevil and 2005’s Elektra in the new superhero sequel Deadpool 3.
