Jennifer Hudson is being accused of dropping her protective order against estranged husband David Otunga because she didn’t want to testify under oath.
A source told TMZ that would make the American Idol singer, 36, uncomfortable because the altercation that she claimed took place really never happened.
Soon after the site published this claim, a source close to the Dreamgirls actress insisted that was not true and she would gladly testify any time.
This back-and-forth sheds light on just how ugly the split between the couple has become. Together they have son David Jr, aged eight.

But Hudson was worried the child would be ’emotionally scarred’ if he saw his mother get threatened by his dad.
It was added Jennifer thought ‘the emotional risk to their son is no longer present’ because she no longer lived with David.
