Jennifer Lawrence hilariously reveals she threw up at her first Oscars afterparty

Jennifer Lawrence got hilariously candid as she spoke to Vogue for the latest video in their 73 questions series. 

The actress, 32, revealed that she had had so much fun she had been sick at her first ever Oscars afterparty in 2011.

When asked: ‘Was your first Oscars afterparty as crazy as it seemed?’ she replied: ‘Oh yeah, I threw up’.

Jennifer also divulged about her relationship with her Silver Linings Playbook and Joy co-star Robert De Niro.

She described the acting legend as ‘the sweetest man in the world’ but at the same time ‘very intimidating’.

She also recalled inviting him to the rehearsal dinner for her wedding, and that she had been shocked when he turned up.

Jennifer recounted: ‘I invited him to the rehearsal dinner for my wedding, obviously not expecting him to come, and when he came I said: “Bob you really don’t have to be here, you can go home.”

‘And he was like thank you so much and left.’

Elsewhere in the chat, Jennifer poked fun at her pixie cut era, saying: ‘Obviously my advice is don’t do it. Think everything through and if I could have the internet scrubbed of those photos, or not scrubbed, just add extensions to them. If anyone knows how to do that that would be great.’

She also opened up on becoming a parent for the first time, to a little boy named Cy.

She explained that there wasn’t one word to describe motherhood, and that her family was made her happiest these days.

Her own piece of parenting advice was that ‘babies don’t get bored’ and when asked about whether motherhood had changed her attitude to working, she answered: ‘Of course, everything, location, my hours, all of it.’ 

Elsewhere in the set of interrogatives, she said Chris Farley was one celebrity she’d bring back to life.

Jennifer, who married art gallerist Cooke Maroney in 2019, also shared that her favorite variety of wine is ‘a good red.’

And when asked who she thinks ‘has the best style in the world’ she named fellow actress Sienna Miller.

For the series of rapid-fire questions JLaw wore a snug white tank top with a pair of belted, flared trousers.

Although she’s been focused on being a mother to her six-month-old son this year, Jennifer is now preparing for the release of the upcoming feature Causeway.

The performer will star alongside Brian Tyree Henry and Samira Wiley in the forthcoming film, which will premiere next month at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.

In addition to serving as the movie’s star, the actress is also listed as one of its producers.
