Jennifer Lawrence wows in long black summer dress as she dines at iconic NYC hot spot Indochine

Jennifer Lawrence looked chic and summery as she stepped out for dinner with a friend at Indochine in New York City on Thursday.

The No Hard Feelings actress, 32, wore a long, strapless black dress with and a black leather, crossbody, hobo-style handbag.

The Hunger Games star slipped her feet into a pair of flat black sandals and wore her long blonde hair down and straight.

The mom of Cy, one, accessorized with a necklace featuring a red circle pendant.

A black sweater was draped over the Winter’s Bone actress’ shoulders. 

The Red Sparrow actress appeared on the YouTube series Hot Ones on June 22. 

The Silver Linings Playbook star revealed that there’s one type of actor she’s nervous to work with: Method actors.

‘I would be scared to work with somebody who’s Method because I would have no idea how to talk to them. Like, do I have to be in character?’ Lawrence said. 

‘That would just make me nervous. But I haven’t seen another process that I’ve been curious about, because you don’t really know about them all the time.’ 

The Passengers actress came face to face with the acting technique of Christian Bale, 49, while filming  American Hustle.

Bale has been lauded for his ability to inhabit the characters he plays, leading many to assume he’s a Method actor. But he isn’t. He practices a ’10 seconds to ready’ technique. 

‘I had always been very on/off, on/off until I did ‘American Hustle’ when I worked with Chrisitain Bale and I noticed when the camera started rolling and the crew kind of started preparing like it was going to be 10 seconds or whatever until action, he would start getting ready,’ Lawrence recalled. 

‘And then I saw that and I was like, ‘That seems like a really good idea.’ And then I started to do that.’

Before Jennifer sat down with Hot Ones host Sean Evans to feast on hot wings, she wasn’t sure the show was actually real.

‘I was  kind of in my head at the beginning, I was like, “Is this show real?” And I don’t think that anymore,” Lawrence told Evans as she took a sip of her milk to minimize the spiciness of the wings.

As the spiciness progressed, Lawrence found herself faced with Da Bomb, the ‘hottest, most disgusting hot sauce in the world.’

‘Oh my god, I’m panicking,’Lawrence said as she finished taking the bite. ‘Is my face okay?’ she asked as she began to tear up.

‘I feel like I’m gonna die,’ she exclaimed before taking a bite of the next hot wing.
