Jennifer Lopez, 51, shocks fans by going completely MAKEUP-FREE

Jennifer Lopez is almost always made up to the nines for her photos shared to Instagram.

But on Wednesday evening the 51-year-old singer was bare faced in a video shared to promote her new new skin care line for beauty brand JLo Beauty.

Fans were shocked that the Hustlers actress could be so brave as many commented ‘you look so different’ with many die-hard fans insisting she is just as gorgeous without paint as she is with it: ‘Timeless beauty,’ said one follower.

‘I haven’t ever had Botox to this day,’ she added during the video. ‘I’m not that person. I don’t have anything against people doing that; it’s just not my thing. I’m more about a natural approach to skincare… but I want [my products] to work.’

‘I want the hyaluronic acid in there. I want the things that are going to help, because I don’t want to have to go to the needles at some point. I’m not saying one day I won’t, but I haven’t yet.”

Jennifer had on almost no makeup as there appeared to be some eyeliner around her eyes still after washing her face. But there was no evidence of foundation or blush.

And it looked as if she had added a generous amount of her skin cream as her face looked almost wet.

The Marry Me actress’ highlighted hair was pulled back and she had on a black lace camisole.

In her caption she talked about the joy of having beauty products with her name on it.

‘This moment is a dream come true for me. I am so excited to finally share my #JLOBEAUTY products with all of you. ✨,’ she wrote.

‘Each one plays a key role in how I keep my skin feeling and looking youthful. Head over to @JLOBEAUTY for the full lineup!

She then talked about her Multitasking Serum and Wonder Cream. ‘Let’s glow!!  #BeautyHasNoExpirationDate.’

She also told People on Wednesday what exactly is inside the jars.

Turns out, the World Of Dance host relied heavily on a product that can be found in most kitchen cabinets: olive oil.

The singer-turned-businesswoman stated that the inclusion of the ingredient in her JLo Beauty line was inspired by her upbringing, as her family members would frequently use olive oil as a natural skin supplement.

‘They would use it on their skin and on their body, their face and their hair to get like a glow and to highly hydrate and moisturize,’ said the mother to twins Max and Emme.

The songwriter first considered the idea of launching a beauty line after decades of fielding questions about how she takes care of her youthful skin.

After putting her mind to it, Lopez underwent a painstaking process of back-and-forth with the chemists working on the products, and after more than 100 rounds of testing, the development team settled on a final product.

Getting innovative: Her beauty line uses olive oil, as announced in an interview with People on Wednesday

Taking notes: The singer stated that she learned about the oil's applicability through her relatives, stating 'they would use it on their skin and on their body'

In speaking about the perfectionism that went into the development of the line, the singer stated: ‘I think I drove everybody a little bit crazy because I didn’t want to put my name on anything that didn’t work or wasn’t exactly what I wanted it to be.’

The products set to launch include a gel cream cleanser, facial mask, and various creams for certain parts of the body, among others.

Lopez also noted that the resources in her beauty products are intended to combat the combined effects of aging and weathering on skin, and that an additional dietary supplement will be included with the line.

‘One of the things I learned is that inflammation and dehydration cause aging…The ingredients [of the supplement] help fight oxidative stress. I want it to be a big part of people’s skincare routines.’

She also made clear that the products are intended for people from all age groups to utilize, regardless of skin condition; this sentiment is especially clear in the brand’s mantra, ‘beauty has no expiration date.’

Lopez happily noted that the products are being well-received by both her daughter Emme, 12, and her mother Guadalupe, 74, the latter of whom has taken a liking to the line’s skin cream.

‘My mom steals my cream. She comes to my house and steals it. I’m like, “Just ask me for it. I’ll give it to you!”‘

The brand is set to launch on January 1, and will be distributed through Amazon, Sephora, and the brand’s own website.

Coming soon: All of the products from the JLo Beauty line are set to go on sale through various outlets on January 1
