Jennifer Metcalfe looked pensive as she stepped out in Altrincham to go shopping on Tuesday – following her split from footballer Chris Eagles.
The Hollyoaks actress, 38, was said to have ‘had enough’ following a string of ‘furious rows,’ and is now ‘taking some time apart’ from Chris, 35.
Jennifer showcased her trim frame in gym wear, including a blue and black zip top, paired with black leggings.

She donned navy trainers and carried a shopping bag as she stepped out.
Her brunette tresses were styled in a chic updo and she showcased her natural beauty by going make-up free.
The outing comes after news that the actress and her boyfriend have parted ways.
A source told The Sun on Monday: ‘Jen and Chris haven’t had the easiest of romances and now it’s all off again. They’ve had a few rows recently and Jen has had enough.’

They added: ‘She’s putting herself first for once, rather than bending over backwards for Chris.
‘She doesn’t need Chris in her life and some of her friends are hoping it stays this way.’

She is said to have jetted home alone from a holiday in Portugal with Chris – who she was first linked to in December – in June after an argument.
That month, the paper reported that the soap star and her partner were enjoying a night out with friends in the Algarve when an argument broke out, leading Jennifer to jet home alone.

Mother-of-one Jennifer announced in August last year that she had secretly split from her ex Greg Lake following an eight year romance.
Jennifer took to Instagram last August to reveal that she and Greg – who she shares three-year-old son Daye with – had ended their relationship.
Seemingly another casualty of lockdown, Jennifer revealed the couple secretly broke up a couple of months earlier.
She wrote: ‘Greg and I decided to part ways amicably a couple months ago. We remain friends and we both will continue to happily co-parent Daye and would appreciate privacy during these times.

Then the following February, the actress looked smitten as she stepped out with her new footballer beau Chris.
Chris – who shares two children with his ex-fiancée Danielle Mitchinson – was said to be in Jennifer’s support bubble during the coronavirus pandemic with the sports star reportedly spotted visiting her Manchester home.
Chris and Danielle are said to have split in October after lockdown ‘highlighted that the relationship wasn’t working’.
According to the publication, Jennifer has reportedly known Chris since she became friends with Danielle last year.
