Jesinta Campbell did her own hair with coconut oil

Jesinta Franklin (nee Campbell) looked stunning at the All Australian team announcement.

Standing alongside husband Buddy Franklin, her slicked back hair and tuxedo dress screamed style.

But the 26-year-old has revealed that she did her chic hairdo herself with nothing more than plain old household coconut oil.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the model revealed that an airport delay caused her to skip having her hair tended to by her glam squad.

‘Airport delays meant I didn’t have time to get my hair done, so I just got a ton of coconut oil (the only thing we had) & just pushed it through my hair and hoped for the bloody best,’ she wrote.

Jesinta did add that she had her makeup down by celebrity makeup artist Chantelle Baker.

She added: ‘So much fun playing glam w. My girl @chantellebaker. Always, always love our time together Chan! #neveradullmoment’.

It comes after the brunette was forced to defend her loving relationship with Buddy Franklin.

An Instagram follower called her photos with her hubby at the All Australian team announcement were ‘sterile,’ she clapped back.

‘Looks good but, sorry so sterile looking,’ the critic wrote alongside a photo of the model and the Sydney Swans star on the red carpet.

Jesinta’s entire post was dedicated to her husband, who was named in the AFL All Australian team in Melbourne on Wednesday night.

At snaps from the event, the pair were all smiles, with one near wardrobe malfunction resulting in more playful laughter for the couple.

But after noticing she wasn’t hugging Buddy in one snap, a commenter suggested: ‘Wrap your arms around your well achieving husband maybe?’

‘Honey, there was not enough Hollywood tape required for any arm movement I’ll tell you that much for free,’ she wrote.
