Jesinta Franklin has opened up about her husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin’s bedroom habits.

The model, 33, was chatting to NewsCorp when she admitted that the former AFL star, 38, loves to get loud in bed.

She said that Buddy loves nothing more than having a chat when he is fast asleep.

‘You know who is the biggest sleep talker? My husband,’ Jesinta shared.

Going one step further, Jesinta also revealed Buddy likes to speak at volume.

‘Yes, but he’s a sleep yeller,’ she said. ‘So I wake up and he’s like, “ah, ah, ah.”‘

Jesinta also recalled a particular incident when she was woken by her husband who was possibly relieving an on-field triumph in his dreams.

‘I remember one night he was like, “get the ball, take it”,  and I was like, “are you okay,”‘ Jesinta said.

Jesinta’s bedroom revelation comes after she sparked concern over a post revealing how much she struggled with some of the challenges of motherhood.

She shared a bathroom selfie to social media earlier this month which captured her looking tired and worn out as she gazed sadly at her phone.

She sported a long-sleeved grey t-shirt and pyjama pants and looked world’s away from her usual glamorous self.

Jesinta captioned the photo with some upsetting words: ‘Easily the most sleep deprived I’ve been since the kids were newborns’.

The Gold Coast-born model then revealed she was feeling overwhelmed by all her responsibilities.

‘Kids, sickness, emergency room visits with ear infections, huge work load, early starts, kids not sleeping,’ she wrote.

‘Shout out to all the mummas showing up every day, look after yourselves. The juggle has been absolutely intense the last week,’ she continued.

The model shares daughter Tullulah, four, and son Rocky, three, with her footy star husband

She has previously admitted that motherhood was extremely difficult for her at first.

‘I actually feel like I’m finally starting to really enjoy motherhood. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy it before, or that I didn’t love my kids or they didn’t bring me so much joy and love,’ she explained to Stellar in 2022.

‘I just felt I was in the trenches for a good two years there. It was an intense period of my life. I was in such a grind.

‘I felt like I was in survival mode for a long time. Now, I can’t wait for them to wake… I miss them when they go for naps.’

Jesinta confessed that both she and Buddy have struggled to spend quality time together due to their duties as parents.

‘A lot of people don’t talk about how hard it is on your marriage having children,’ she said.

‘We really haven’t had much time just us two without the kids, but we’re a very tight-knit family.’

She continued: ‘It’s definitely not perfect. We try to focus on being a team and facing the challenges together,’ she said of herself and Buddy.

Jesinta also praised her husband for being a proactive and doting father.

‘Bud is so hands-on and supportive, and I really missed that when he was gone. I’m really lucky to have a partner who is such an amazing father,’ she said, referring when he was away for the footy season.
