Jess Glynne looked in her element as she performed for the first episode of the new show ITV Studio Sessions.    

The six-part series aims to champion top talent and exciting emerging artists from the UK.

Each episode giving fans in the audience and watching at home an intimate experience, all led by TV presenter Clara Amfo. 

Jess was first up to be given the star treatment and commanded attention with her stellar performance.

The hitmaker cut an elegant figure for the show as she donned a black blazer with flared sleeves, pairing it with matching trousers.

The singer styled her flame-haired locks into voluminous curls and also wore a pair of silver drop earrings. 

The other artists taking part in the show are Becky Hill, Cat Burns, Tom Walker, YUNGBLUD and BRIT award rising star winner Sekou. 

The six artists will take the stage in front of an audience of Priority members in O2 Blueroom which resides inside the UK’s most iconic music venue, The O2. 

It comes after Jess was surprised with an award for achieving a billion streams in the UK by her proud parents during a private listening party.

The singer was performing her new album for her family and friends when her father Lawrence and mother Alex, surprised her on stage.

A video obtained by MailOnline shows the moment her parents interrupted her set to hand her the accolade, as she joins an elite group of successful artists.

As they walked towards her, Jess said: ‘Mum and dad! What’s going on?’

Her mum Alex explained that they were very proud to present her with the BRIT Billion award, as Jess replied: ‘BRIT billion! She’s got a billion streams!’

Lawrence said: ‘This award is an acknowledgement for an exclusive number of artists who have had over a billion streams in the UK. And you are among that group of elite artists who have achieved that.’ 

‘It makes us immensely proud and this album is going to go up there!’

Jess has won the prestigious BRIT billion award for achieving over 1 billion streams in the UK. 

ITV Studio Sessions will be available to watch on ITVX from Friday 3rd May 2024 and will be exclusively broadcast on ITV1 every Friday night at 10.45pm.
