Jess Glynne shows off her figure in a skimpy patterned bikini in rare Instagram post… months after clearing her social media after being trolled amid transphobic slur drama

Jess Glynne showcased her incredible figure in a skimpy patterned bikini on Wednesday.

The singer, 32, took to Instagram to upload the black and white snap of herself checking out her behind as she enjoyed a dip in the sea amid an apparent holiday to Italy.

Jess’ posts comes months after she cleared her social media pages after being relentlessly trolled following the fallout of a transphobic slur she made, in which she apologised for.

The One Touch hitmaker looked amazing as she displayed her toned figure in the pretty two-piece, with the beauty accessorising her holiday look with a pair of trendy shades.

The star didn’t reveal much else about her holiday, but the Italian flag indicated that she’d hopped over for a break in the European country.

The last post shared on her grid was a compellation video of her dancing along to Beyoncé’s track Break My Soul.

Jess has kept a relatively low profile after she cleared her social media accounts in April.

The decision came to deactivate her social media after being relentlessly trolled following her apology for using a transphobic slur.

She had allegedly been told to ‘go die’ in vile messages and now feels her online relationship with fans has been ‘ruined,’ after facing backlash for using the slur during an interview on a podcast.

Jess had previously issued a lengthy Instagram apology vowing to ‘educate’ herself after sparking outrage by telling a story that included the transphobic slur.

A source told The Sun at the time that Jess decided to shut down her accounts in a bid to ‘escape’ the vile trolling she’d received and feels she’s being ‘relentlessly punished’ for a mistake which she had apologised for.

They said: ‘It’s sad, because she had great relationships with her fans online, but that has been ruined.

‘This has been an incredibly difficult experience for her, especially at a time when she has been in lockdown and unable to distract herself.’

Earlier this year, Jess split from her record label last week in a shock move following ‘disagreements’ over her creative future.

The London-born star no longer wants to ‘churn out radio friendly hits’ but would rather create music that ‘resonates’ with her personally.

The Sun reported at the time that when Jess held a ‘series of discussions’ over the matter, ‘everyone was on a different page’.

A source told the paper: ‘Jess felt she had earned the right to control the direction of her music.’

They added: ‘She is keen to reset her career and almost start again after taking time out.’

A spokesperson for Atlantic records told MailOnline: ‘Jess Glynne and Atlantic Records have parted ways after a hugely successful eight years.

‘She holds the record as the British solo female artist with the most UK No.1 singles.

‘This is an exciting period of creative growth and new beginnings for Jess, and Atlantic wishes her all the best.’
