Jesse Baird’s housemates are understood to be planning to leave the small Sydney terrace where he and his boyfriend Luke Davies were allegedly murdered, wrapped in a tarpaulin and left overnight in its limestone-clad courtyard.
Beau Lamarre-Condon, who previously had a ‘friends with benefits’ arrangement with Mr Baird before the Studio 10 presenter ended things in November, allegedly used his police-issued Glock pistol to shoot the couple three times inside the rental home in Paddington at about 9.50am on Monday, February 19.
He then allegedly placed the bodies in the courtyard, covered them with a tarp, and used Mr Baird’s phone to tell his two housemates he was moving to Perth and asked if they could leave his possessions on the nature strip out the front.
The housemates returned to the property later on Monday to find the place in disarray. They then went to to bed unaware Mr Baird and his boyfriend were dead outside, 7News reported.
The three-bedroom terrace was leased last April for $1,200 per week and, according to the online listing, has a ‘limestone-clad, north-east facing courtyard’ and is ‘ideal for entertaining’.

The courtyard opens at the back of the property via a roller door and could double as a carport, but it’s a small space and would barely fit one vehicle.
Daily Mail Australia understands Mr Baird’s housemates have already applied to live in another rental property following the tragedy, and may have ended the lease at the Paddington house a few months early.
Assistant Commissioner Michael Fitzgerald said on Wednesday that Lamarre-Condon didn’t expect to find Mr Davies inside the house when he arrived.
‘We will be strongly claiming in our case that this murder was premeditated and the second murder occurred because of, unfortunately, Luke’s presence at the house,’ he told 9News.
Lamarre-Condon had originally bought one surfboard bag from a store in Miranda, about 20km south of Paddington, two days before the alleged murders.
Police allege he bought it with the intention using it to hide Mr Baird’s body, but one bag wasn’t enough.
Mr Fitzgerald said: ‘Following the incidents, he went back and bought a further surfboard cover.’

He allegedly hired a white Toyota HiAce van and moved the bodies the following day, on Tuesday, February 20, to a property in Bungonia, about 180km south-west of Sydney.
The bodies were allegedly buried in a shallow grave on the fence line of a property on Jerrara Road. Police uncovered the remains on Tuesday, February 27.
Earlier on Thursday it was revealed it will be alleged in court Lamarre-Condon used bullets stolen from a gun range to load the gun.
He allegedly checked his pistol back into Balmain Police Station, where he worked as a senior constable, after the alleged murders – with a full magazine, as though no shots had been fired.
In the days following the tragedy, friends and passers-by left bouquets of flowers outside the Paddington terrace.
Sunflowers, roses, dahlias, chrysanthemums and tulips were placed along the property’s iron gates in scenes reminiscent of the mountains of flowers left in public places in the wake of Princess Diana’s death.
Lamarre-Condon has been charged with two counts with murder and will face court at a later date.
He has now been dismissed from the police force.
