Jessica Mauboy has weighed in on a wild conspiracy theory claiming that there are two Beyonces.

During an interview on KIIS FM’s Will & Woody, the hosts asked the singer about who she’s met that has ‘taken her breathe away’.

‘Beyonce. Meeting Ms B and having her invite me on her Sasha Fierce tour was just beyond,’ Jessica responded.

Host Woody Whitelaw then asked: ‘You know there is a conspiracy theory that some people follow that there are two Beyonces.’

‘No there’s not,’ a stunned Jessica responded.

‘I can’t confirm or deny. I don’t have a theory. I have seen her perform. People do have stunt doubles and they are allowed to have them,’ she added.

It comes after Jessica shared details about her upcoming wedding to fiancé Themeli Magripilis on Tuesday.

The singer told Sunrise that while she doesn’t have a date set yet, the ceremony will be a ‘big family fest at the beach’ in her home city of Darwin.

Jessica and Themeli, 32, who have been dating since they were 18, got engaged on holiday in Greece in 2019.

‘Honestly I don’t have an actual set date. I’m just trying to suss out who’s in town – all the family particularly, obviously now everyone wants to travel,’ Jessica said.

‘I’m sure it will be a Darwin big family fest, because all my mob is up that way.’

The former Australian Idol star added: ‘It’ll be probably the sunset and the beach, you know.’
