Jessica Rowe and Peter Overton’s teenage daughter Allegra is following in her famous parents’ footsteps by signing with a top modelling agency.

Allegra has inked a management deal with Priscilla’s Models just weeks after her 16th birthday, and has already posed for her first headshots.

Former Studio 10 host Jessica, 52, who worked as a fashion model in her teens, proudly announced her daughter’s big news on Sunday.

The mother of two shared one of Allegra’s headshots on Instagram Stories alongside three other images of up-and-coming models.

It seems Allegra has dreamt of becoming a star for some time, as she previously advertised her skills as an actress on casting website Backstage.

Allegra’s big news comes just days after she celebrated her sweet 16th with an extravagant party at her parents’ home in Sydney.

Jessica and her Nine newsreader husband pulled out all the stops for their eldest daughter’s big day, hiring a DJ and festooning the house with floral displays and a three-tier cake.

Jessica posted a series of photos on Instagram from the event, including a snap of Allegra with her birthday cake, decorated with a pink and white topper.

‘Celebrating our precious Allegra as the festival of turning 16 begins! Just three more days until your birthday, darling girl,’ she captioned the post.

The couple first met when Jessica was doing work experience at Channel Nine at age 19, but didn’t start dating until years later when they met at the Logies.

Jessica is best known for her co-hosting role on Studio 10, which she stepped down from in March 2018 to spend more time with her family.

Taking to Twitter at the time, a supportive Peter applauded his wife’s ‘courageous’ decision to leave the program.

‘To make a decision to leave a job you love takes courage,’ he said. 

‘Jess and I have had some long talks about this and the bottom line is our little girls need their mum.’
