Jessica Rowe has quit Studio 10.
The 47-year-old made the shock announcement live on air during Friday morning’s show.
The presenter, who has co-hosted the morning program since 2013, told viewers she has decided to leave in order to spend more time with her family.

Addressing the audience in a piece to camera, Jessica stated: ‘I’ve got some news I want to share with all of you because you’ve been so incredible to me over so many years- I’ve decided to leave Studio 10’.
Her announcement drew stunned gasps from members in the audience.
Justifying her decision, the popular TV personality continued: ‘It’s been a very hard thing for me to do, but it’s because my family need me… I want to be more present, I want to be a more present mum for my girls, Allegra and Giselle. They need their mum.’

Jessica has been married to Channel Nine’s Peter Overton, with whom she shares 10-year-old Allegra and 8-year-old Giselle.
Claiming she wants to be around for her daughters of a morning, the star continued: ‘I want to be there in the mornings for them, I want to take them to school. It’s something that I need to do, it is as simple as that
Peter and I have spoken a lot about this over the past six months. It’s weighed on me because this is a job I love. This is the best job I’ve ever had on television.
