A multi-million dollar nutritionist behind a vitamin and health empire has offered her skincare secrets behind her glowing, youthful complexion.

Jessica Sepel – whose vitamin range sells a product every seven seconds around the world – said she always takes care of her skin from the inside out.

‘I’m a big believer in taking care of your skin from both the outside and inside by nourishing yourself with the right nutrients in your diet, whilst also using the right topical skincare products,’ the 32-year-old, from Sydney, wrote on her blog.

‘This double approach has been key for me in maintaining healthy, youthful skin – especially since I hit 30 a couple of years ago.’

INSIDE SKINCARE

  • Eat ‘good fats’
  • Eat a ‘rainbow’ of fruits and vegetables
  • Enjoy a small glass of red wine
  • Drink 2L water daily
  • Drink 3-6g marine collagen a day

OUTSIDE SKINCARE

  • Apply sunscreen every day
  • Use natural Vitamin C serum daily
  • Use chemical-free natural skincare
  • Opt for a cream cleanser every night
  • Apply Buriti oil before bedtime

The founder of JSHealth said healthy, radiant skin starts on the inside.

Her diet includes ‘good fats’ like avocados, olive oil, nuts, seeds, and fatty fish.

For antioxidants, she ensures she’s eating a ‘rainbow’ of fruits and vegetables while she drinks two litres of water a day.

She also enjoys a small glass of red wine, which is rich in a chemical called resveratrol that has been credited to anti-ageing powers.

‘I drink red wine for that resveratrol antioxidant hit,’ she said.

Jessica also drinks three to six grams of marine collagen a day, which she claims help with skin hydration, elasticity and reduce visible signs of ageing.

For her ‘outside’ skincare regime, she uses sunscreen and natural Vitamin C serum every day.

‘The right skincare can make all the difference in protecting yourself from external aggressors and premature ageing, plus feeding it with incredible topical vitamins, nutrients and botanical actives,’ she said.

Jessica only uses natural skincare products without harsh chemicals like parabens.

Every night, she cleans her face using a cream cleanser.

‘This helps keep the skin barrier healthy as it doesn’t strip my skin of natural oils, which we need for a healthy complexion,’ she said.

She said she noticed her skin instantly changed after using Buriti oil, a natural retinol alternative before bedtime.
