But now Jessica Yates has ignited a new dimension to the rivalry – on the red carpet.
The Fox Sports presenter said on Wednesday that WAGs at the NRL’s Dally M Awards will dominate those who attended the AFL’s Brownlow Medal on Monday.

‘Everyone just needed to cover up. It’s very fashionable at the moment to be nude,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.
‘There has always been a cross code rivalry between the AFL and NRL and there has also been this kind of great fashion rivalry between codes too.

Brit Davis, the girlfriend of Geelong Cats’s Joel Selwood, had similar ideas and put one of her tanned and slender legs on display in a sparkly silver number.
The stunner’s figure-hugging number effused hints of old Hollywood glamour, with Brit complementing the look by styling her caramel locks in voluminous waves.
