Jessie J pens a loving tribute to her boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman just weeks after giving birth

Jessie J shared a tribute to her boyfriend, Chanan Safir Colman, and confirmed that he is the father of her newborn son on her Instagram Story on Saturday.

The 35-year-old performer posted a selfie featuring her significant other, 39, who obscured his face in the shot.

The hitmaker, who recently revealed that she had to undergo a C-section, also shared a photo that had been taken during her childbirth, during which the couple lovingly held hands.

Jessie, born Jessica Ellen Cornish, also wrote a lengthy message to express that she had made a habit of opening up about her personal life over the years. 

‘I struggle to keep things private. I think if you know me you know that. I want to protect people I love and keep it for just myself…and then so often I think f*** it because life is short but i don’t want to regret it,’ she said.

The Bang Bang went on to speak about how she quickly fell for her boyfriend just after their first meeting. 

‘I met this man, weeks after my miscarriage in 2021. Like a beam of light. He lit up my dark days. It was a whirl wind love and a miracle that we fell pregnant naturally with not one issue during,’ she recalled.

Jessie went on to gush about how Colman, with whom she was first spotted in April of last year, had been a constant source of support ever since their first encounter. 

She wrote: ‘Grateful doesn’t cut it. He has given me many of the best gifts of my life.’

The singer then expressed that her boyfriend had been with her while she gave birth to their child.

‘He didn’t let go of my hand this day and I wouldn’t have been able to go through it without him,’ she said.

Jessie concluded by describing her boyfriend as ‘the calm to my crazy. The peace to my fear. The Daddy to my baby. thank you.’ 

The hitmaker also included a shot of her baby boy reaching out and holding his mother’s finger.

The Nobody’s Perfect singer publicly revealed that she was pregnant this past January.

Jessie subsequently announced that she had welcomed her baby boy into the world on May 19.
