Jessie J has revealed that she is ‘living her best life’ as a mother.

The British pop star appeared on The Project on Monday and said that returning to her career as she experiences parenthood is doubly a blessing.

‘Oh, being a mum, honestly’ she replied when asked what ‘living her best life’ means to her now.

‘It’s the magic of my little Sky… I love my boy so much’ she added, discussing son Sky, who she shares with partner Chanan Safir Colman.

The 37-year-old welcomed her son with her basketballer boyfriend in May 2023.

‘I’m living my best life, just enjoying this. I’m so grateful to be back and putting out music’ she said.

‘Being a mum as well and having a career and a child and having both, I’m loving it.’

The pop star added that her son enjoys hearing her sing and shares her appreciation of music.

‘Every time he hears me singing, he looks at everyone in the room and goes, “mummy’s singing.”

‘He finishes the songs I sang to him when he was a baby. He sings it to me.’

It comes after Jessie admitted she ‘isn’t too fussed’ about getting married.

She has been with Chanan, 41, for four years, but says she feels no pressure to tie the knot anytime soon.

The Price Tag hitmaker says the couple will do it in their own time, and although she does expect they will wed ‘one day’, it’s not something particularly important for them to do right now.

‘We talk about it all the time, and we laugh about it all the time, and I’m sure we will, but we’re not in any rush,’ the mum-of-one – who shares son Sky with Chanan – told People magazine.

She continued: ‘I’ve always said that I’m not too fussed about getting married, and some people get really funny about that, but it’s my own preference.’

Jessie finds marriage ‘quite contractual’ but she is keen for them to affirm their love for one another.

The pop star would prefer to do a ceremony of love and just have friends and family in attendance.

‘But I’m not in any rush,’ she added. ‘I know he loves me. He knows I love him. We’re good.’

Jessie says that having a son together ‘is the most locked in that we can feel with each other.’

She said: ‘He has exceeded my expectations as a father beyond my imagination. I’m so grateful that he is so present and just so willing to adapt around obviously my career.’

On Friday Jessie sent fans into a frenzy after dropping a brand-new single and unveiling the stunning official artwork for the track.

Following the release of her deeply personal and reflective song No Secrets last month, the singer has returned with Living My Best Life – a vibrant, feel-good anthem bursting with positivity.
