Jessie James Decker says she wants to have her ‘trashy’ tattoos removed … adding that she doesn’t feel that way about other people’s ink

Jessie James Decker on Wednesday engaged in an exchange about tattoos with her Instagram followers, after remarking that she was seeking to have them taken off, calling them ‘trashy.’

The 35-year-old singer took to Instagram Stories with a pair of images of her tattoos, asking her 4.2 million followers recommendations for tattoo removal in the Nashville area.

‘I want this removed ASAP,’ the Vicenza, Italy-born beauty said. ‘I want all my tats removed tbh.’

In the shot, Decker, who has an apparel brand called Kittenish, showed off a tattoo on the back of her neck that resembled the Aries zodiac sign.

Decker continued: ‘They trashy and I’m over it. BUT this is the priority.’

The Boys in the Summer vocalist said she was hoping to have the ink taken off ‘in three visits or less.’

Decker, who is mother to three kids with her husband, NFL alum Eric Decker – daughter Vivianne, nine, and sons Eric Jr., seven, and Forrest, five – then put up another post on the site clarifying that her view on tattoos was specifically about her tattoos, and not tattoos in general.

‘To clarify for the sensitive folk … I think MY tats are trashy and I don’t want MINE anymore,’ she said. ‘Not yours. I love your tats. Rock on. [Okay]?’

In the accompanying image, Decker was flashing a peace sign while showcasing a tattoo on her wrist of a bumblebee.

Decker has past been outspoken when it comes to body positivity issues: Last November she spoke out about people claiming that she had photoshopped a vacation image to make her kids appear in better shape.

‘When I posted the pix of our vacation and included the kids being silly flexing on the beach on our thanksgiving trip I had NO clue it would get the reaction it did,’ Decker said.

She continued, ‘Being accused of photoshopping abs on my kids (I can’t help but laugh) or … the polar opposite over “overtraining” our kids makes me realize how bizarre our world has gotten regarding the body and what’s normal and what’s not.’

Decker said she rejected the criticism and found it bizarre that people had that reaction to the picture.

‘We preach about body positivity and acceptance but my kids having a mass amount of genetic and built muscle from athletics is “weird?”‘ she said. ‘I want to raise my kids to feel proud of their bodies and hard work from either Vivi’s elite competitive gymnastics to Eric Jr wanting to be like dad as an NFL receiver to little Forrest who spends hours dancing his heart out.’

Decker later told Us Weekly that she was surprised by the feedback to her post.

‘I literally posted that and didn’t even think twice,’ she told the outlet. ‘So hours go by and all of a sudden I’m like, “Wait, what?”‘

‘Like, I couldn’t believe the reaction. I was so confused but there was never one moment where it upset me.’
