Jesy Nelson gave a startling insight into her daily diet as she shared a picture of her dinner on Instagram on Wednesday evening.   

The Little Mix star, 29, filmed her plate of food – which comprised of a chicken breast and eight baby carrots – alongside three sad face emojis.

The singer then turned the camera to her rumoured new boyfriend Sean Sagar’s Burger King feast, complete with Nando’s Peri-naise.

Jesy has been candid in the past about how she would starve herself before concerts and shoots. 

She told The Guardian: ‘I’d drink Diet Coke for a solid four days and then, when I felt a bit dizzy, I’d eat a pack of ham because I knew it had no calories. Then I’d binge eat, then hate myself.’ 

Reflecting on how she saw her eating at the time, she said: ‘I could see that I was losing weight and sometimes I’d see a few good comments and that spiralled me to be like: ‘This is how I need to stay’. 

In March, the star told MailOnline she had been thrown off her usual healthy regime by lockdown and had become the ‘laziest b***h ever’.

She said: ‘I have become the laziest b***h ever! I am becoming a whale!’ All I’m doing is eating, the Deliveroo man is sick of seeing me!’ 

When asked whether she’s taken up a new skill during the shutdown, Jesy poked fun at herself as she said: ‘Hmmm, I want to say eating? See how much I can eat? 

‘I’ve literally been the laziest b***h ever. I’m just really enjoying eating what I want. Normally I’d be thinking, ‘Oh God, I got a video next week, I need to fit into those latex trousers!”

Jesy’s insightful video came after she reportedly enjoyed her first holiday with Sean in Cornwall at the weekend. 

The star, who previously denied claims she dating the Our Girl star, 30, did little to quash romance claims as they were spotted together by fans in Newquay.

A source said: ‘They seemed really relaxed and happy in each other’s company and were laughing together.’

On their ‘romantic’ outing, an insider added to The Sun: ‘He was very tactile and protective of her.

They continued to fuel relationship rumours last month when they enjoyed a boozy lunch together with a pal, with a source claiming ‘they seemed pretty loved up’. 

The singer’s ex-boyfriend, Love Island star, Chris Hughes, 27, is said to be ‘gutted’ that Jesy has moved on after their 16-month romance came to an end in April.
