Jetstar is offering free flights for its 19th birthday to one lucky winner

Jetstar are offering one lucky customer free flights for a year to celebrate their 19th birthday.

To be up with a chance of grabbing the deal, the airline is asking customers to tell them in ’19 words or less’ what job they would love to do for the day and why.

The top 19 funniest or most creative answers will be submitted as finalists.

Finalists will then have three days to make a short video to explain why they would be great at the chosen job, with the winners getting voted on by Jetstar’s Facebook and Instagram followers.

The winner will get 12 domestic flights and six international flights for two, all to be taken within a year, 

Jetstar flies to 86 destinations across Australia and internationally including Bali, Fiji, Japan and New Zealand.

The post was shared on Jetstar’s Facebook page this morning, with it already racking up thousands of entries.   

While it’s common for 19 year olds to jetset on a journey of self reflection, according to Aussie Life Coach, Lana Hall, this desire for adventure and new challenges should be explored in all stages of life. 

‘No matter how old you are, when you’re feeling stuck or unsure of the direction you’re heading in your career or life, there’s nothing quite like doing something out of your comfort zone,’ she said.

‘The first step is opening more doors to new experiences, which is why travel is a great way to help in self-discovery.
