Jimmy Bartel and his new girlfriend Lauren Mand went ‘Instagram official’ in November, following the footy player’s split from estranged wife Nadia Bartel.
And on Wednesday, Lauren shared a sneak peek of her special Christmas Day celebrations in Melbourne.
Sharing a photo of a Christmas tree with a pile of presents beneath it, she wrote: ‘Merry Christmas. This will be the best one yet.’

The grainy photograph on her Instagram Story showed a large assortment of gifts stacked in high piles, but the labels were not legible.
Explaining why this year’s festive season was particularly special for her, she wrote: ‘My family is in the same country at home together for Christmas.’
In the background of the photo a tricycle and a bike were visible among the other wrapped gifts.

Earlier this month, Lauren declared her love for retired AFL star Jimmy on Instagram, following his bitter split from wife Nadia.

Lauren made her profile public and re-shared a photo Jimmy had posted of himself playing with his two sons Aston, 4, and Henley, 1.
‘You’re the most amazing dad, I admire you more and more each day for everything you do for these boys,’ wrote Lauren at the time.
