Jimmy Nicholson has revealed there was one condition he set before signing up to become this year’s Bachelor.
The 31-year-old told the producers of the Channel 10 reality series that he wanted to let his ex-girlfriend know he was going to star on the hugely popular dating show.

The reality star told the hosts that usually contestants need to keep their appearance a secret, but the rules were changed for this one time only.
‘One of the prerequisites for me going into it – obviously, I had to sign an NDA – but I said to Warner Bros. that I had to tell my ex. We’re on good terms, and I think I would want to know if she was doing it,’ he said.
Jimmy claimed that he’d broken up with his ex ‘a few years ago’ but said it was a significant ‘long-term relationship’.

Jimmy also addressed rumours that had surfaced suggesting he wasn’t an actual pilot.
The rumour was sparked after photos circulated on social media showing him working as a lifeguard.
Jimmy explained that he had been temporarily stood down as a pilot due to the pandemic last year and chose to volunteer as a surf lifesaver in his spare time.
