As reported by SPORT 1, speaking at a press conference Low said: ‘I had no contact to anyone. I still maintain that I will not take over a club in the summer. There is no change of mind!’

Low’s experience, which includes overseeing Germany’s success at the 2014 World Cup, would make him an ideal candidate to become manager of Real or Barcelona, while he also possesses prior experience of coaching clubs including Stuttgart and Fenerbahce. However, it seems that he has no intention of heading to LaLiga.

Real are on the lookout for a new manager following the departure of Zinedine Zidane. Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino is among the candidates to succeed him, with Raul, Antonio Conte and Xabi Alonso alternative options.

As far as Barcelona are concerned, Ronald Koeman’s future at the club remains uncertain.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta said that he will discuss the situation with Koeman next week amid suggestions that the Dutchman could be sacked.

In Koeman’s first season in charge Barcelona won the Copa del Rey but finished in third place in LaLiga, while PSG knocked them out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage.
