Jock Zonfrillo’s wife shares ‘treasured’ memories of late MasterChef star

The wife of late MasterChef judge Jock Zonfrillo has shared some treasured memories with his Instagram followers.

Lauren Fried, who now runs her late husband’s Instagram account, posted a new video on Friday commemorating an Italian family holiday from just one year ago.

The series of posts show Jock doting on his two youngest children, smiling and laughing with his wife as they enjoyed the sights of Italy.  

In the caption to the video, Lauren wrote: ‘One year ago today in Italy, in search of the best bowl of alla Nerano.’ 

Followers of the celebrity chef paid their respects in the comments.

Zonfrillo died in his hotel room at Zagame’s House on Lygon Street in Carlton, Melbourne on April 30.

He was found by police at about 2am on Monday, May 1, the same day Channel 10 was meant to premiere the fifteenth season of MasterChef Australia.

The premiere was subsequently postponed until May 7.

Jock is survived by his wife Lauren and by his son and three daughters.
