Johanna Griggs reveals her excitement as she becomes a grandmother

She’s a former Olympian, TV presenter, and proud wife and mum.

And Johanna Griggs, 44, can now add grandma to her long list of achievements after the birth of her grandson on Sunday.

The Better Home and Gardens host took to Instagram to share the first baby photo of a baby boy, who is the son of her youngest son Jo Sweet and his partner Katie Buttel.

‘Meet our gorgeous grandson… he is beyond exquisite…. 3.7kg and 54cm’s Long,’ she captioned.

‘Katie and Joe completely calm and over the moon. Both families ecstatic with the safe arrival of this much loved little man. Yet to be named…. and beyond surreal. 

She added: ‘Can’t begin to describe how incredible it is to see my baby holding his baby. What a beautiful day.’

Johanna is married to Todd Huggins and shares two adult sons with ex-husband Gary Sweet; Jesse James, 22, and Joe Buster, 21.

Last year, Johanna revealed her excitement at becoming a grandma for the first time.

‘Bring on 2018’: Johanna previously shared a snap of her son’s girlfriend’s baby bump, as she revealed she felt the baby kick for the first time

Johanna took the photo of Joe’s partner Katie lifting up her shirt to reveal her stomach, while her son kneeled down next to her smiling.

‘Got to feel my grandson kick for the first time tonight,’ Johanna wrote in the caption. 

‘It was so awesome. Katie is looking so beautiful, and everyone is so excited. Bring on 2018.’
