Star Wars star John Boyega promoted his other sci-fi sequel Tuesday and got ribbed about it by Mark Hamill.
The 25-year-old English actor took to Twitter and posted a poster of himself for the upcoming sci-fi sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising.
John in the sci-fi monster film plays Jake Pentecost, the son of Idris Elba’s character Stacker Pentecost from the 2013 original.

The Twitter picture showed Jake in black body armor holding a helmet with a giant black Jaeger robot behind him with its visor shield glowing ominously.
‘Up next!,’ John wrote along with the image for his more than 1.2 million followers on Twitter.
Star Wars legend Mark, 66, showed the farce is strong in him and replied: ‘You’re in Star Trek, too? Congratulations son!’
John will reprise his role as Finn in the upcoming sequel Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Mark also will be back as Luke Skywalker, the powerful Jedi Master who has been on a self-imposed exile.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi also starring Daisey Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and the late Carrie Fisher is due out on December 15.
Pacific Rim: Uprising stars John along with Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Adria Arjona and Jing Tian.

The original 2013 film that starred Charlie Hunnam was directed by Guillermo del Toro, 52, and earned $411 million at the worldwide box office.
The Mexican-American filmmaker wrote the story for Pacific Rim: Uprising and also is a co-producer along with John.
The sequel was directed by Steven S. DeKnight, who also co-wrote the screenplay.
