John Ibrahim’s unique living arrangement with his famikly

Kings Cross nightclub boss John Ibrahim’s unconventional living arrangements were revealed this week when his model girlfriend admitted she had been prevented from moving in with him because he wanted his ‘privacy’.

Sarah Budge, 29, told the NSW District Court that despite dating Ibrahim, 51, for six years they do not live together – in fact he’s only been to her apartment twice in that time.

‘He’s quite set in his ways and he likes his space and his privacy,’ Budge told the jury during her gun possession trial.

Despite keeping his girlfriend at a distance, within a stone’s throw of his palatial Dover Heights mansion live his love child, her mother, his assistant and his estranged son.

John bought his clifftop mansion at Dover Heights in 1997 and since then his brother Fadi, son Daniel, personal assistant Margaret Staltaro, love child Eliana and her mother Skye Fuller, have all moved in nearby

Just a few houses down from his place lives John’s five-year-old daughter, Eliana, and her mother, Skye Fuller.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal John sees the pair on a daily basis.

He has previously been quoted as calling his daughter ‘the cutest thing he has ever laid eyes on’.

John, the young nightclub figure turned multi-millionaire businessman, hasn’t gone very far since moving out of home.

He left the western Sydney housing commission flat where he and his brothers grew up at age 22, moving into a rental in the exclusive suburb of Dover Heights.

Almost three decades on he still lives in the suburb, in a clifftop mansion on George Street which he bought for $1.165 million in 1997.

Since then he has added some personal touches, including an $800,000 extension in 2005 and the addition of a $45,000 infinity swimming pool in 2008.

So nice is the Dover Heights area that John calls home, that in 2013 his brother Fadi and wife Shayda decided to join him in the area.

The couple moved out of their home at Castle Cove, on the city’s lower north shore, and also bought a clifftop mansion – three streets away from John.

They paid $4.08 million for the property which they have decorated in their own way, with a large Wall Street-style charging bull statue taking pride of place out the front.

Having established himself by his early 30s, in 2000 John bought a home two doors down from his own for his mother Wahiba.

Yet in his memoir ‘Last King of the X’, he told how she didn’t enjoy the city’s exclusive eastern suburbs and longed to move back to her fibro commission home.

‘Instead of being surprised or impressed, she’s uncomfortable being so close to a cliff and all that wind, and hates being away from the Merrylands home she raised us in,’ John said.

So, he bought the land where they grew up, knocked down the housing commision flat and instead built a two-storey, five bedroom home for his mother.

But it wasn’t just his mother and brother who John wanted around him.

In 2017 he bought two units for $2.49 million unit, moving in his long-term and highly trusted personal assistant Margaret Staltaro and son Daniel as tenants.

From there Ms Staltaro was able to be at his beck and call, day and night.

It also initially allowed him to keep in closer contact with his son, who had spent time away with the army.

But despite their close proximity to each other, the pair’s relationship is believed to have become strained in recent times.

John has also brought his former lover and mother to his daughter, Ms Fuller, into his inner circle.

Ms Fuller and their daughter live just a few doors down from John in a unit he bought for them.

Even in the ritzy eastern suburbs of Australia’s biggest city, there is no doubt that The King still holds court.
