John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen prepare to fly home with their children after enjoying an Easter family getaway in Venice

John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen were seen preparing to fly home from Venice on Monday, after enjoying an Easter family break with their children.

The singer, 44, who previously travelled to London for two intimate shows at the Royal Albert Hall, was seen boarding a flight at Marco Polo Airport accompanied by his wife and their children Luna, six, Miles, four, and baby daughter Esti.

Carrying their youngest child in her arms, Chrissy, 37, cut a casual figure in all-black as she and John prepared to fly back to the US.

Meanwhile John led their daughter Luna through the terminal, after the family were seen enjoying an idyllic break in the Italian city.

Chrissy and John flew to Venice after spending several days in London for his intimate shows, with the model documenting the family’s exploits on Instagram.

Teigen penned a lengthy message in her first post’s caption to speak about her initial trip to Venice last week.

She wrote: ‘John and I first came here in 2007 when we were just a couple of crazy child-free kids! It’s was the dead of winter, absolutely freezing cold and john fondly remembers my single faux urban outfitters fur hat that adorned me every day and night.’

The model then expressed that she greatly made the most of her time in the city without considering the possibility of returning with children one day.

She stated: ‘We took the water bus everywhere and ran through the alleys, making out like a couple of doofuses in lurve who never would have thought we’d be back with babies of our own! well john probably knew.’

Teigen and Legend initially met in 2006 while working on the set of a music video, and they tied the knot in December of 2011.

The happy couple went on to start their family with Luna’s birth in 2016, and Miles arrived two years later.

The pair were expecting to bring a third child into their lives in 2020, although the model ultimately had to undergo a life-saving abortion.

Teigen and Legend eventually revealed that the former was pregnant for the fourth time last year, and she gave birth to Esti this past January.

The model recently spoke to The Bump and commented that her newborn was easier to manage than her older children.

‘I was just shocked at how easy the baby is and how hard the other two would be. The baby is the easiest part of our life right now. She’s very scheduled. She just needs love and kisses,’ she said.

The influencer also expressed that Luna and Miles had become very attached to their parents following the arrival of their baby daughter.

‘They’re madly in love with her, but they’re very competitive with each other. They want attention, and they want to feel like we’re always listening to them,’ she said.

Teigen then stated that she and Legend were making an effort to listen to the concerns of their older children.

‘We’re running through hoops all the time trying to make sure they feel like they’re still so important, because they are. Keeping up with them is way harder than anything baby-related,’ she said.
