Imagine John Legend singing the soundtrack of your life, breaking out into a melodic play-by-play about such mundane things as the hair accessories you choose on any given day.
A fantasy? Sure, unless you’re Chrissy Teigen.
On Sunday, the 32-year-old uploaded an adorable clip to her Instagram story in which she simply poses and pouts for the camera — as her husband makes up a song on the spot about her ‘headband of the day’.

Chrissy, John, and their two kids are currently on vacation in Bali, and Chrissy has been beating the heat — and plague of hair-frizzing humidity — by tying her hair back in wraps and headbands.
This weekend, she showed off her headband of choice in a short Instagram video in which she’s seen in close-up, posing and pouting her lips as she shows off her look.
Behind the camera, John can be hear making up an impromptu song for the moment — a hyper-specific diddy unlikely to make it to his next album.
‘Headband of the day, it’s the headband of the day. Push you locks away with the headband of the day,’ he croons, while Chrissy strikes poses and winks.

John seems to have been touching on the fact that Chrissy loves the headband look, and frequently wraps her hair up in scarves and other pieces to hold back her locks.
The 39-year-old Grammy winner, meanwhile, seems to make a habit about singing his way through tasks and moments that most people wouldn’t think warrant a song.
Earlier this year, Chrissy — who is a spokesperson for Pampers — introduced a commercial John made for the brand in which he changes baby Luna’s diaper.
While doing so, John sings a song about it that goes: ‘Somebody’s got a stinky booty! Her name is Luna and she made a poopy. Somebody’s got a stinky booty! And daddy’s gonna clean it up.’

According to Chrissy, the very-real song was first dreamed up by John long before he made the ad.
‘John’s been singing this song to Luna since her very first diaper change in the hospital and he hasn’t missed one opportunity since,’ she wrote. ‘I present to you, the underground hit of our household – the stinky booty song!’
John has won 10 Grammys, including Best New Artist in 2006, and R&B Song and Album in 2011. He was nominated an additional 18 times.
