Earlier in the day, he was spotted strolling along the beach in a mint green shirt, while sporting a pair of sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Toni showed off her incredible figure in a dark green bikini while she topped up her tan.

The beauty shaded her face from the sun with a pair of shades and a straw hat.

She was then spotted covering up in a chic white playsuit and sporting sandals as they left the beach.

Portugal has been hit by a series of blazes in recent days, with some encroaching on the exclusive neighbourhood of Quinta do Lago where properties sell for between £1million and £9.5million, home to stars including John, Roman Abramovich, Duncan Bannatyne and Steven Gerrard.

Footage shows swirling flames tearing through the luxury Portuguese resort, destroying golf courses as panicked tourists desperately tried to flee in their cars from the looming inferno.

Thousands of firefighters and volunteers are battling blazes across the country with one devastated villager describing flames as ‘looking like the devil’.

The blistering heat has caused similar fires to break out in Spain, France, Turkey and Croatia as Europe continues to suffer under the furnace-like heat dome blanketing the continent.

Earlier this month, John admitted to rejecting three managerial job offers and says he won’t be entering the dug-out in the future after fans questioned his future in football on social media.

He took up a coaching consultancy role at Chelsea last year – a part-time position designed to help develop the club’s talent.

Assuring fans just how happy he is in the role, Terry took to social media to stress that he has not been shying away from roles in management.

‘Getting loads of messages regarding me not managing,’ he posted on Instagram.

‘I turned down three jobs last year and interviewed for two more that I didn’t get. It’s a personal decision that I have come to.

‘I have my role at Chelsea that I love and my family time, which means everything to me. And I get time to enjoy myself.

In a Q&A session Terry held on his Instagram account, he was asked if he had plans to enter management in the future.

He replied: ‘Unfortunately no. When I left Villa that was the aim. I won’t be managing or coaching in the future.’
