Johnny Manziel will finally be addressing the non-stop partying and heavy boozing that got him cut from the Cleveland Browns in an interview with Good Morning America on Monday morning.

DailyMail.com got an early preview of Manziel’s interview, in which the former Heiman trophy winner discusses hows the highs of his epic benders were quickly followed by the lows of the morning after.

Manziel tells TJ Holmes at one point in the interview: ‘When I would wake up the next day after a night like that going on a trip like that, and you wake up the next day and that is all gone, that liquid courage or that liquid like sense of euphoria that is over you, is all gone. You are left staring at the ceiling by yourself… thinking about all the mistakes you made in your life, what did that get me?

‘Where did that get me except out of the NFL? Where did that get me? Disgraced?’

Manziel has been documenting his dedication to returning to the game in recent months on social media, and tells Holmes that he is well aware of the long road ahead of him.

‘I am trying to come back where I can get to a point to step on a football field in whatever capacity that is after taking two years off after hitting a really rough and rocky patch in my life where I felt like I had to go through certain things to come out the back way to where I am at today,’ explains Manziel.

The Good Morning America interview airs at 7am on Monday.
