Jon Bon Jovi set to open a new bar in Nashville on the city’s famed Broadway street

Jon Bon Jovi may be a New Jersey legend, but now he’s setting down some roots in Music City, opening a new bar in Nashville.

The 61-year-old rocker is set to open JBJ Nashville in Nashville’s Lower Broadway district, according to Rolling Stone. 

The rocker – who was named the MusiCares Person of the Year – will open the bar at 405 Broadway in the Spring of 2024 though no exact date was given yet.

The venue will be a joint collaboration with BPH Hospitality, a subsidiary of Nashville-based Big Plan Holdings.

A press release reveals the bar will be, ‘the tallest and second-largest bar by square footage on Lower Broadway,’ over 37,000 square feet.

The bar will be designed to conform with Nashville’s Broadway Historic Preservation Overlay.

It will also feature entrances on both Broadway and 4th Avenue, with two fifth-story outdoor rooftop decks. 

‘We’re looking forward to having a place in Nashville that we call home,” Jon Bon Jovi said in a statement. 

‘When Big Plan Holdings and the team of Josh and Tara Joseph asked us if we were interested, it wasn’t because we were just another rock band, it was because we are a band with deep roots in Nashville,’ he added. 

‘We have had wonderful times in Nashville recording several albums and working with some of the finest people in all the music business,’ he continued. 

‘I can’t wait to toast all of Broadway and get to know our neighbors!’ he concluded.

He joins other music stars who have bars on Broadway such as Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock and Miranda Lambert.

Stars such as Luke Combs and Eric Church also have bars that will be opening in the area soon. 

He also recently confirmed he will be performing at son Jake Bongiovi’s upcoming wedding to Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.

The rocker, 61, told DailyMail.com exclusively he intends to hit the stage at his son’s wedding.

When asked on the red carpet of the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year gala if he would be performing at the nuptials, he told DailyMail.com: ‘Yes!’

Jon is MusiCare’s 2024 Person of the Year, an honor previously bestowed to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Aerosmith, Dolly Parton, and more.

‘In addition to his extensive musical achievements, Jon Bon Jovi is recognized for his impactful philanthropic work,’ his Person of the Year announcement read last year.
