Jono Castano’s journey to new fatherhood came with a fair bit of anxiety, he has confessed.
The celebrity personal trainer was in the delivery room when his model girlfriend Simone Holtznagel gave birth to their daughter Gia last month.
And he had moments were he was consumed with worry, Jono told this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine.
‘I was super stressed seeing Sim in labour. I kept swearing’ the 33-year-old admitted.
‘But once [Gia] came out, it was definitely a massive joy and even sitting here with her now, there is no stress of life. Everything else, I’m just like, “f*ck it”‘.

Simone, 30, says the pair wept together once their daughter was in her arms.
‘I cried, obviously we all cried. I knew it was going to be hard, but it was nothing like what you could ever prepare for, or at least I felt like that’ she said.
‘It was just so overwhelming. It didn’t feel real, it felt like a dream. I’m just so glad she’s here’.

‘I just want to be here with Sim and her. It’s indescribable being in this baby bubble now’ Jono explained to the publication.
Last month, Simone welcomed her first child with her personal trainer boyfriend.
The blonde bombshell announced the happy news on her Instagram page alongside a series of adorable photos of her newborn.
She revealed that baby Gia arrived on Easter Sunday.
‘On Sunday March 31st we welcomed our healthy, baby girl Gia Holtznagel Castano into the world,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘We are totally and completely in love with her and enjoying these special moments as a family of three.’
Simone announced that she and boyfriend Jono were expecting their first child together in October and later confirmed they were having a baby girl.
At the time, Simone, who went public with her relationship with the celebrity trainer back in 2022, told Who magazine she was overjoyed with the news.
‘Kids have always been in our plan. We started talking about it more and more and then it just happened,’ she told the publication.
