Jordan Chiles stuns in black dress at New York Fashion Week after Olympic medal heartbreak

Jordan Chiles continues her post-Olympics tour de force as she stunned in a black dress at New York Fashion Week on Monday at the LaQuan Smith SS25 Runway Show in Brooklyn.

Chiles has been in New York City for the last week or so doing plenty of public appearances, including walking the runway at the Kim Shui show in a beautiful silver dress.

The Team USA gymnast has also made the rounds at sporting events by making appearances at a New York Liberty game, New York Mets’ showdown to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and at the US Open.

Chiles is in the spotlight again a month after she was forced to return her Olympic bronze medal after an appeal of the scores in the individual floor exercise discipline.

In Paris, Chiles was originally given fifth place on floor and a United States appeal on her difficulty score raised her marks to third place behind Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade and fellow American Simone Biles.

Days after the Olympics, the Romanian athletic commission filed an appeal of the scores that dropped their athlete, Ana Barbosu, from the medal stand.

The appeal found the United States’ original challenge of the scores was filed four seconds too late and was invalid.

That led to the reversal, giving Barbosu the bronze medal and Chiles only winning one medal in Paris as part of American’s gold medal in the team competition.

Chiles said she was taking a break from social media amid the backlash to her returning her medal but has now reappeared with several appearances in New York City.

New York Fashion Week ends on Wednesday, giving Chiles one more day to impress on and near runways in the biggest city in the United States.

Just like Biles, Chiles has not stated her intentions for the next Summer Olympics, taking place in Los Angeles.
