Embattled footy star Jordan De Goey has been accused of damaging a rental home and leaving it in a filthy state.
Paul McCorquodale said he and his partner leased their two-bedroom apartment in the Melbourne suburb of Elwood to the 21-year-old and another man in March last year.
An inspection a short time later found the property had sustained significant damage, including urine-soaked floors, smashed windows and a destroyed garden, he told Nine News.

Much of the damage was caused by two dogs living at the property, he said, but the lease had allowed for only one.
‘Pot plants were smashed, windows were smashed, blinds were damaged, floors massively damaged from dog urine, the main bedroom was a dog kennel,’ Mr McCorquodale told the network.
‘It was just disgusting.’
Ben Niall, De Goey’s manager, told Nine that the player accepted responsibility for the damage.

He added that De Goey has committed to paying for the property to be repaired and cleaned.
It comes days after De Goey was suspended indefinitely from Collingwood for drink driving.
He was also banned from driving after being caught two times over the legal limit.
De Goey was tested on Saturday night in Port Melbourne and gave a reading of 0.095 per cent.

He initially claimed he sustained the injury while playing fetch with his dog but later came clean with a video apology to the club and fans.
