Josh Dobbs’ whirlwind start to life in Minnesota continued on Sunday as the quarterback pulled off an insane touchdown scramble vs. the Saints.

Dobbs, who was traded to the Vikings on October 31 following Kirk Cousins’ season-ending Achilles injury, pulled off a stunning comeback last weekend despite barely knowing his teammates or the playbook.

And that momentum continued against New Orleans as he pulled off an impressive seven-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

On third-and-6, Dobbs evaded a sack before turning the corner into the endzone and giving his team a two-possession lead.

He would toss a 28-yard touchdown to T.J. Hockenson just minutes later.

Dobbs wasn’t even the starter last weekend after arriving in Minnesota just days earlier, with rookie Jaren Hall given the nod.

But the former Cardinals passer was thrust into action in the first half when Hall was ruled out with a concussion.

From there, the 28-year-old wasted little time winning over his new teammates as the Vikings improved to 5-4.

Nicknamed ‘the Passtronaut’ due to his degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Tennessee, Dobbs is capturing the hearts of NFL fans everywhere.

And if he keeps his strong play up, he might just capture the Vikings’ quarterback job for good, too.
