Josh Duggar joins his family at theme park after his business was raided by Homeland Security

There’s nothing like a little lighthearted fun at a theme park to make you forget all about federal agents raiding your place of business.

On Wednesday, Homeland Security confirmed that its agents had visited Josh Duggar’s car dealership in Springdale, Arkansas as part of a federal investigation, though they wouldn’t release any further information at the time.

But 31-year-old Josh is projecting an air of nonchalance, and that same day he visited Silver Dollar City theme park in Branson, Missouri with his wife Anna, their five kids, his parents, and several of his younger siblings.

Several members of the Duggar family posted photos and video from the outing on Thursday, presenting a happy, untroubled front and almost wholly ignoring the trouble that’s made headlines.

Anna, 31, uploaded a gallery of snaps, starting with one of her, Josh, and their five children posing in a Christmas carriage.

The couple’s kids are ten-year-old Mackynzie, eight-year-old Michael, six-year-old Marcus, four-year-old Meredith, and two-year-old Mason, and Anna is expected to give birth to their sixth child any day now.

Anna’s photos also featured Josh and the kids on a swing ride, plus the family posing with Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle.

‘We had such a fun family day at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri yesterday,’ she wrote.

‘The kiddos always love it and the weather was great too — getting an early start to celebrating Christmas! It was great to get some walking in and hopefully our precious baby girl will be arriving soon (I’m due next week)!’

Though Anna was quick to share happy family photos from the day, she was just as eager to ward off any unwelcome questions about the investigation, and limited comments on her post. Only comments from her sisters-in-law Jill Dillard and Susanna Keller were approved.

The Duggar Family Instagram account also uploaded images from the outing, showing that Jim Bob and Michelle brought along their youngest daughters, nine-year-old Josie, ten-year-old Jordyn, 12-year-old Jennifer, and 14-year-old Johanna.

At one point, Michelle pushed her four-year-old granddaughter Meredith and nine-year-old daughter Josie in a stroller.

Josh's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, were also on the outing

Oldest daughter Jana, 29, was there as well, and shared a smiling snap with brothers Jason 19, and Jed, 20, the latter of whom is currently running for a seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives.

‘Had a great time with friends and family today at Silver Dollar City!’ Jana wrote. ‘It was the perfect weather… almost 70 degrees!’

Jana’s friend Laura DeMaise shared a similar snap, as did Jed in his Instagram stories.

Meanwhile, several other siblings who didn’t go on the theme park trip posted their own lighthearted photos that ignored the unfolding investigation.

Jessa, 27, posted a picture of her husband Ben looking overwhelmed by all of the Amazon packages on their front step — Jessa chalked it up to ‘Christmas shopping’ — and Jill, 28, posted several photos of her two sons.

Anna has liked several of her sisters-in-law’s posts.

The family appears to be doing its best to ignore the drama unfolding with Josh.

Over the weekend, a blind item posted on the site Crazy Days and Nights Opens in New Window let to speculation that the FBI had raided the Duggar home, but an FBI agent in Arkansas told RadarOnline on Monday denied the rumor.

‘We were not involved in any kind of law enforcement action,” the agent said. ‘I can confirm we were not there.’

As it turns out, it was Homeland Security.

An HSI spokesperson to WRBL on Wednesday: ‘[I do not dispute the information that] HSI was present there pursuant to an on-going federal criminal investigation.’

That same day, TMZ learned that Homeland Security had visited the car dealership where Josh Duggar works.

The sources did not indicate what the investigation was about, however, last November, RadarOnline reported that the dealership, Champion Motorcars, LLC, was ‘illegal’ and said that Josh did not have the proper license to run the lot as a business site, despite owning it.

Josh’s younger brothers James, Josiah, and Jedidiah also work there.

Despite the reports, the Duggars’ family Instagram account posted happy family photos and videos more frequently than usual over the weekend, and on Tuesday released a statement calling the reports ‘fake news.’

‘We were shocked to see a news report today state that our home was raided by federal law enforcement agencies,’ their statement read.

‘This is not true. To the best of our knowledge, it’s also not true that any member of the family is the target of any investigation of any kind.

‘Living a life in the public’s eye has taught us that it is best not to reply to every rumor and piece of “fake news” that is circulated online. It would be a full-time job if we attempted to do so.

‘However, because of tonight’s media coverage we thought it is important to address this rumor with you.

‘Thank you for the love and support that we can always count on in you our fans and friends [sic].’

But despite their public denials, by Wednesday afternoon, many of the listings for vehicles that had been on the dealership’s website were gone.

The family did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s inquiries about the presence of ICE agents at the dealership.

And this isn’t the first time that Josh has face legal trouble. In 2015, inTouch unearthed old police reports that detailed how Josh molested four of his younger siblings and a family friend back when he was a teenager.

In 2002, the then-teen admitted to having touched the breast area and genitals of some of the other children, including sisters Jill and Jessa, several times.

Josh did not face any legal repercussions, and only went to Christian counseling for several months as a result.

Soon after the molestation made headlines — and just a month after Josh and Anna welcomed their fourth child, Meredith — a hacker released user information for the adultery website Ashley Madison, and Josh was found among those who had used the services.

His profile included interests like ‘one-night stands and ‘experimenting with sex toys.’

Caught, Josh admitted publicly to infidelity and having a porn addiction, calling himself ‘the biggest hypocrite ever’ in a statement.

The dual sex scandals led TLC to cancel 19 Kids and Counting after ten seasons. However, the network soon brought the family back on air in a similar show called Counting On, with Josh noticeably absent.

Josh also lost his job at the conservative lobbying organization the Family Research Council (FRC) in Washington, D.C.

Josh went on to remain mostly hidden from the public eye for several years, though his wife Anna eventually started including him in photos on Instagram once again.

They went on to have another baby, and Anna is currently nearing her November due date with their sixth child.
