AFL star Josh Gibson debuts his new girlfriend over the Christmas holidays – one year after splitting from ex Olga Kononchuk who suffered major spinal injuries in a boating accident

He split from his Russian ex-girlfriend Olga Kononchuk at the end of 2019, after almost two years together.

But on Saturday, former AFL star Josh Gibson revealed he’s found love once again, as he debuted his new romance with glamorous blonde Ashley Bright.

On Boxing Day, Josh, 35, shared a sweet picture to Instagram of the couple spending the Christmas holidays together with their newly adopted puppy, Pippa.

Ashley shared the same picture on her own account, and also posted another snap of the lovebirds kissing while she held on to Josh’s chest.

‘Christmas couldn’t have been more special,’ Ashley captioned her snaps, while Josh – who recently joined the cast of Celebrity Apprentice – simply wrote: ‘Merry Christmas.’

While it’s unclear how long the pair have been together, Josh had shared a picture of Ashley with their new puppy at the start of December, which he captioned: ‘My two loves.’

And when Ashley introduced their four-legged friend, she tellingly wrote: ‘Welcome to the family Pippa girl. You may have screamed all night and put us off kids for the next 10 years, but we love you.’

The photos come a year after Josh broke up with his ex Olga, who is still on the mend after a boating accident left her with severe spinal injuries.

The Herald Sun reported they split shortly before Christmas 2019, with Josh clearing out his social media and deleting all photos of the pair.
