Josie Gibson transformed into a slain socialite to take a starring role in Thursday’s Cluedo-inspired Halloween special of This Morning.

The presenter, 36, was covered in fake blood as she collapsed onto the floor while playing the Lady of the Manor during the murder mystery extravaganza.  

The make-up department had certainly gone to town on Josie, as she sported a full-face of fake dried blood while wearing an unmissable pink top with fluffy sleeves.

She paired the eye-popping number with a chic raspberry maxi skirt, featuring floral prints. 

As the former Big Brother star sprawled out on the studio floor, Phil announced, ‘There’s been a murder!’ 

The homicide was set to be solved by Detective Alison Hammond in time for the end of the show. 

Clues were dropped throughout the show as to who killed Josie after she had been ‘murdered’ with a BAFTA, a National Television Award, as well as a pineapple.

Other characters included Clodagh McKenna playing Professor Plum, Steve Wilson as Reverend Green, Matthew Wright as Mr White, Georgia ’Toff’ Toffolo as Baroness Blue and Vanessa Feltz as Miss Peacock.   

Throughout the show, Andi Peters popped into the mansion as different famous detectives, including Poirot, Sherlock Holmes and Kojak – much to Holly’s delight. She told Andi, “I love you” through giggles when he turned up at the door as Kojak.

Andi offered some viewers’ predictions of who the murderer may be, which included Stephen Mulhern, Richard Madeley, Alison Hammond or one of the crew.  

At the end of the special Cluedo show, Midsomer Murders detective Neil Dudgeon showed up at the mansion and solved the crime. 

It turned out Fenton the Butler (played by Gyles Brandreth) was the murderer, with the evidence including his white glove being removed and left at the crime scene. 

Another clue was that the Lady revealed she needed a jumper (Gyles is famous for his jumpers). Finally, Fenton was in charge of polishing the silverware and therefore the NTA, which lay near the Lady of the Manor’s ‘lifeless’ body
