Jourdan Dunn and Alessandra Ambrosio lead PFW Balmain show

It will no doubt have been regarded as one of the most highly-anticipated runway shows held in honour of Paris Fashion Week.

And Balmain certainly pulled out all the stops for its Spring/Summer 2018 showcase at the eight-day style event, as it enlisted the likes of Jourdan Dunn, Alessandra Ambrosio and Elsa Hosk to model its upcoming collection.

The high-profile models looked simply sensational as they joined each other on the runway, clad in striking ensembles that comprised of metallic embellishments, tasselled detailing and mesh overlays.

Leading the pack had been Jourdan who showcased her model frame in a daring studded two-piece that teamed together a leather mesh skirt, that drew attention to her endless pins underneath, and an open long-line jacket that comprised of the same material.

Her bodysuit was visible underneath the unusual yet chic ensemble that was paired with a studded vest top tucked into a complementing waistband that made sure to highlight the beauty’s svelte figure.

She sported a glamorous make-up look that accentuated her natural beauty through the use of neutral tones and came complete with a strong brow and nude-hued lip.

Finishing off her runway look, Jourdan wore her cropped raven locks in tousled waves and swept over to one side.

Domineering the catwalk, she added height to her statuesque fame with a pair of chained barely-there heels.

After dazzling on the runway in recent weeks at New York, London and Milan’s Fashion Week offerings, Alessandra Ambrosio cut a striking appearance on the catwalk for Balmain in a three-piece suit and edgy leather lace-up boot heels.

The stunning ensemble was entirely covered in gold chain detailing and featured frayed ends at both the sleeves and trouser legs.

Favouring a subtle beauty look, Alessandra wore her glossy mane down past her shoulders, with one side of her bonce tucked behind one ear, and looked perfectly poised as she sashayed her way down the runway in front of the gathered crowds.

Alessandra has found herself a staple on the runway, thanks to her work with lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret for the last decade.

She was joined by her fellow Victoria’s Secret angel Elsa Hosk, who dazzled in an array of outfits while walking for Balmain – a designer brand favoured by the likes of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian.

Making for a very leggy display, Elsa donned a thigh-skimming structured frock that remained true to Balmain’s trademark style and boasted motif panels, along with statement shoulders, and a leather tasseled waistband.

Her blonde tresses fell into soft glamorous curls around her shoulders and she accentuated her picture perfect cheekbones with a sweep of bronzer.

Elsa then slipped into a striking textured pencil skirt that was paired with a casual crew-neck sweatshirt boasting the fashion house’s emblem.

Pamela Anderson, 50, cut a delightfully chic figure at the event, held in the French capital, as she chose to don a textured checked mini-dress that came complete with a thigh-grazing hemline and high neckline.

She made sure to draw attention to her age-defying frame with a thick leather belt around her waist and added a sultry touch to her ensemble with a pair of suede thigh-high boots boasting a leather toe.

Pamela had paid tribute to Hugh – who died of natural causes at the Playboy Mansion in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of West Los Angeles on Thursday.

The Baywatch star broke down in tears as she bid farewell to the media mogul in an emotional Instagram video, which she accompanied with a poignant poem.

Pamela, who starred on the Playboy cover three times including her last nude shoot,, wrote in a poem: ‘Mr Hefner, I have so many thoughts, I have no brain right now to edit.

‘I am me because of you. You taught me everything important about freedom and respect. Outside of my family. You were the most important person in my life. You gave me my life. People tell me all the time. That I was your favorite.’

It concluded: ‘You loved my boys. You were always, always there for us. With your love, your crazy wisdom. I will miss your everything. Thank you for making the world a better place.
