Jude Bellingham saw the funny side as Sunderland supporters sang a rude chant about Newcastle legend Alan Shearer while he was in attendance at their Boxing Day clash at Blackburn.

Real Madrid superstar Bellingham was there to watch his brother Jobe, who plays for the Black Cats.

Newcastle and Sunderland are fierce rivals and the Premier League’s all-time top scorer Shearer is not a popular figure among fans of the latter

Bellingham was joined by parents Mark and Denise for the festive footballing day out, which resulted in a 2-2 draw.

Sunderland’s travelling supporters broke out into an X-rated chant about Shearer at one point during the Championship match.

And fans are convinced that Bellingham joined in after footage of him in the stands emerged.

As the ‘Shearer is a w*****’ song was sung, the cameras turned to Bellingham who appeared to mouth the words before a big smile appeared on his face.

The Bellinghams watched an entertaining fixture in Blackburn with the home side taking an early lead through Yuki Ohashi before the visitors hit back through Chis Rigg and Wilson Isidor.

Unfortunately for Jobe and his team-mates, Harry Leonard levelled in the 90th minute to see the points shared.

Jude is currently enjoying another impressive campaign after somewhat of a sluggish start to the season.

The England midfielder has contributed six goals and three assists in his last seven LaLiga matches with Madrid now just one point behind leaders Atletico.
