A judge has said she wants to ‘castrate’ a pervert who she sentenced for installing hidden cameras in children’s bedrooms and taking upskirting videos of women.
Ryan Alden, from Oklahoma City, worked for a security company and took ‘countless’ recordings from cameras hidden behind vents.
Many were pointed towards children’s bedrooms and bathrooms and he also took videos up women’s skirts at restaurants, gyms and churches.
Judge Amy Palumbo gave Alden a life sentence but said she would ‘castrate’ him if the law allowed her, according to Oklahoma news site KFOR.
An officer testified that there was enough footage on his phone and computer to fill 12 spindles of compact discs.

Many of the victims spoke in court and said their fond teenage memories of being safe at home have been ruined because of Alden.
Others said the trauma would require years of therapy because of their fear that images are still being distributed on the internet.
The defense team argued for a five to ten-year sentence but Judge Palumbo believed he would commit the crimes again after his release.
She said: ‘If the law allowed me to have you castrated, I would.’
An investigation into whether Alden shared his recordings is ongoing.
